Oh sweet readers…this post is coming to you directly from procrastination station. The school term is just two weeks away from being done, and I am so overloaded by homework that I don’t want to do any of it. But soon I will officially be a graduate of the PCC Paralegal Program…assuming I pass all my classes and such, and even though I may still take some filler courses next term. For “fun”.
But I promise, there is a point to this post. Many new things are coming up on the horizon for Disquietus. My little bitty blog turns a year old in just about two months, and I will soon be planning some fun things to celebrate that, as well as planning the move to self-hosting and other things. I can’t wait to have the time to start posting regularly again, and catch up on the huge backlog of reviews I need to write. A couple weeks ago I mentioned on Twitter that I was thinking of doing a 2014 reread challenge for myself. I’m always talking about the many books I want to reread and it seemed like a great excuse to justify it. Then a couple of people mentioned that this would be something they were interested in doing as well, so now I’m considering making this a thing, but I want to get a gauge on interestedness. And yes, I just made that word up…shhh I can do that. But on to the point, I am now considering turning my personal 2014 reread challenge into a blog one, featuring monthly prizes and some games and such, but I wanted to take a poll and see how many people would participate if I did make this a thing. Mostly because I would be paying for everything out of my own pocket and so I want there to be enough participation to justify it to my bank account.
There is also another exciting poll because I am indecisiveness. The week following my last final I am going into hiding at my best friends, turning my phone off and reading, reading, reading. I have a HUGE stack of books that I recently bought/received and I can’t pick which ones to take with me to read first, other than Vicious, and so I decided to let you guys vote on it. And yes, there are a lot of options. I told you, indecisive.
